Cookie Policy
Last updated 15 September 2026
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie rigidrent.com uses and what it is for. In short: we only set cookies when you log in to the resident portal, and those cookies do nothing except keep you securely signed in. We do not use advertising, analytics or social-media cookies.
Do you need to accept cookies?
No, and that is why there is no cookie banner. EU and Cyprus law only require consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary for a service you asked for. Every cookie below is needed to log you in and keep you logged in, so it is set only when you choose to sign in. Visitors who only browse the site receive no cookies at all.
Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
| rigid_oauth_state | Protects the login against cross-site request forgery while you are being redirected to the sign-in page. | 10 minutes, login only |
| rigid_pkce_verifier | Part of the secure login handshake (PKCE) between the website and Amazon Cognito. | 10 minutes, login only |
| rigid_access_token | Keeps you signed in to the resident portal for the current session. | About 1 hour, renewed while you use the portal |
| rigid_id_token | Tells the portal who you are so it can show your own apartment's information. | About 1 hour, renewed while you use the portal |
| rigid_refresh_token | Lets the portal renew your session without asking you to log in again. | Up to 30 days, or until you log out |
All of these are first-party, HttpOnly (scripts on the page cannot read them), sent only over HTTPS, and are cleared when you log out.
Local storage
The website does not keep any personal data in your browser's local storage. Older versions of the portal did, and the current version deletes any such leftovers the first time it loads.
Page view statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits to each page. It does not set a cookie, does not store your IP address, and does not follow you across other websites. It derives a short-lived hash from the request that cannot be linked back to you and is discarded after 24 hours. Because no personal data is stored, no consent is required.
Third-party content
Video tours. Some apartment listings include a YouTube video. The video player is not loaded until you press play. When you do, it loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set tracking cookies before you start the video. From that point Google's privacy policy applies.
Directions. Building pages link to Google Maps. The map opens in a new tab on Google's site; nothing from Google is loaded into our pages.
How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block the cookies above you will not be able to stay logged in to the resident portal, but the rest of the website will work normally. Logging out clears all of them.
